The stock setup is a brand new transmission straight out of the box from Can-Am with no warranty from Can-Am or Warranty Killer Performance.

A stock OEM transmission is not setup properly and often setup too tight from the factory. This usually generates gear friction and oil failure which leads to gear and bearing failure along with horsepower loss.

2014 Can-Am Maverick 1000 X mr

Hey Hector, This transmission would not be a direct bolt in for your unit. The rear transmission mounts would ahve to be removed and moved up. Very simple task, everything else will bolt and line up wiht no modfication. Yes sir we do, What are you calling the output shaft? We refer to the shaft connected to the rear driveshaft the output shaft.

Some refer to the shaft in the cvt belt box that the secondary clutch fixes too the output when in fact that is the input. We sell both seals and o rings! Hopes this helps thanks! When your ready to servie your unit shoot us an email we cna recoomned a weight fluid we have seen extend the life of the gear box subsatinoally over stock fluids and OEM suggested brands and weights. Would the HD series handle that OK? I am currently having an issue with the stock transmission not engaging in high range, then when I let off the accelerator the transmission engages. Hey Wally, Yes the HD version in the gear reduced setup would be less load on the engine and clutches.
